Description

All '57 Chevys are alike, right? Wrong! Take a good, long look at this stunning 1957 Chevrolet 210 Restomod and you'll find that a huge amount of time, effort, and money went into the build, resulting in a show-stopper classic that can hammer down the highway better than almost any other vintage ride on four wheels. By all accounts this was an open-checkbook restoration, so you know it's dialed-in everywhere you look, but you really need to see it closer to appreciate just how gorgeous it really is.

The color is a modern shade of Blue, a wonderfully sinister, yet sophisticated, dark hue that gives this Tri-5 the very expensive look it deserves. The investment in quality bodywork is evident everywhere you look and the long flanks and bright 210 trim doesn't leave any areas for shoddy workmanship to hide. The deep, glossy finish not only makes heads turn with its flashy look, but it's surprisingly easy on the eyes. No liberties were taken, no chopped roof, no shaved handles, and no chrome or stainless deletion, as it was important to the builders to pay respect to the timeless '57 Chevy design. Thanks to a comprehensive, body-on restoration that was completed approximately 10 years ago, the finish still looks relatively fresh, passing the eye test the second anyone lays on it. And although the paint isn't "perfect" (would you even drive it if it was?), it's still a very nice, top driver-quality job and looks so slick in person that it's bound to turn heads for years to come. Gorgeous chrome only enhances the sparkling, high-quality look and you know few things are more expensive to refinish than the brightwork on a '50s automobile. Add in the bright stainless body trim that's a highlight of the 210 models and you have a car that doesn't have a single wrong line on it anywhere.

There's not much 1957 left inside after a full-blown custom restoration that features high-end leather-clad bucket seats split by a custom center console up front, a matching bench in the rear, and spectacularly ornate door panels – all covered in gorgeous tan leather hides. The stock Chevy dash was slightly reworked and now houses a full set of black Classic Instruments gauges inside an updated 3-gauge instrument panel, and even though the overall look pays homage to 1957, it sure seems sleeker and more high-tech, doesn't it? That long stretch of chrome that runs the length of the dash certainly helps in that aspect, as it splits the beautifully painted dash right down the center, and all the knobs and controls were replaced with new pieces that all add to the sparkle. A billet steering wheel with tan leather on the rim anchors the cockpit atop a polished tilt column, while a Lokar shifter was neatly fitted into the custom center console to manage the upgraded transmission below. Plush tan carpets are protected with embroidered floormats below, there's a beautiful taut headliner above, and that custom center console also houses a set of cup holders and a JVC AM/FM/CD/AUX/Bluetooth head unit that manages the tunes. Rounding out the options list is the modern A/C system that was cleverly installed into the dash, and yes, it's blowing ice cold R134a refrigerated air throughout the cabin. Out back, the back seat looks untouched and the trunk was beautifully finished to match the cabin, with matching tan carpets and hidden side panels and a 'Fuel Injection' embroidered carpeted mat adding a trick touch.

Instead of a ho-hum drivetrain, this beautiful 210 packs an upgraded and venerable 5.7L LS1 V8 Corvette motor. Like you, we're tired of seeing garden-variety engines in these cars, and this high-horsepower modern engine will definitely impress passengers and onlookers alike. Tuned and professionally fitted inside the show-quality engine bay, it's supremely smooth and powerful, and thanks to modern fuel injection, a cold air intake and induction system, and ceramic-coated long-tube headers, it starts quickly, idles smoothly, and pulls without a hitch. At shows, you'll be extra proud to pop the hood and show off the all the bling, including the blue Corvette valve covers, all those killer chrome-and-blue engine components - all of which look absolutely sinister against the smoothed and painted inner fenders and firewall. It's really dressed for show under the hood, with a serpentine belt system that keeps it all working in unison, and a big aluminum radiator that keeps the block nice and cool. The shine and detail continue to the chassis where you'll find fresh components throughout, including upgraded control arms, a satin-black dusted frame and floorpans, and upgraded shocks along with power front disc brakes. The stainless-steel dual exhaust system burbles through a pair of Dynomax mufflers that sound fantastic. A 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission feeds a rugged rear end that's ready for red light-to-red light action and long distance cruises alike, so whether you're hitting the Power Tour or just taking the wife out on a Sunday afternoon, this 210 is ready to go. Staggered Billet Specialties chrome wheel look great in any iteration, wrapped in 235/45/17 front and 245/45/18 rear performance radials that fill the wheel-wells perfectly.

With not a lot of miles on the clock since the build was finished, this dialed-in 210 cost a heck of a lot more to build than what the asking price shows today. If you like a bit of sophistication with your performance, this Tri-5 Chevy Restomod delivers in a very big way. Call today!
